Jo Lynne Lockley came to the countries oldest and possibly first established food and beverage recruiting firm, Chefs’ Professional Agency, in 1985 following over fifteen years in Germany and Switzerland, where she studied and taught after completing her MA at the University of California, Berkeley.

Jo Lynne’s strength lies in pairing fine chefs, qualified culinary specialists, and pastry chefs with the matching restaurateur. Her clients range from private clubs to cruise liners to fine dining restaurants across the globe, with a focus in the San Francisco Bay area. In order to focus on the kitchen, she recently separated her management recruitment operations into a separate department, Prohospitalty Search.

Jo Lynne is a member of the Golden Gate Restaurant Association, the San Francisco Professional Food Society, the Advisory Boards of San Francisco State College Hospitality Department and the Contra College Food Service Training program and served as Co-Leader for the San Francisco Convivium of Slow Food.
